ENERGY CERTIFICATION

Save energy, reduce emissions, and increase the value of your property.

Energy certification is the first step toward optimizing a building's energy efficiency. At Plus Energy, we help you understand the energy rating of your home, business, or building and offer specific solutions to improve it.

What data will you obtain with the energy certificate?

Energy consumption of the building

Through an exhaustive study, we detected the main energy sources and analyzed global consumption, placing a special emphasis on climate control, which accounts for a large part of the energy bill.

CO₂ emissions

The certificate reflects overall CO₂ emissions [kg CO₂/m² year]. The goal is to contribute to international commitments (Kyoto Protocol, European Directive 20/20/20) by reducing emissions by 20%, increasing the use of renewable energy, and improving energy efficiency.

Energy improvement measures

We propose concrete actions to improve a building's energy rating. We focus primarily on the building envelope (facade, roof, and woodwork) and then on the installations. Successful implementation can improve the energy rating by up to two letters and enhance the property's value.

What happens if you don't have the certification?

The lack of a certificate can have environmental and legal consequences. Royal Decree 235/2013 and Law 8/2013 provide for sanctions for developers or owners who fail to comply with the obligation to provide an energy label in the event of a sale or rental.

In addition, real estate agencies must display the energy label (from A to G) in all property advertising.
